COBI USA Shipping:
Warbricks Charges a fee of $12.99 per order under $50 for Basic Ground shipping (At this rate we still typically subsidize a portion of the cost)
All orders over $50 receive free shipping unless you request priority/Fedex shipping.
Free shipping and orders with Basic Ground will ship out at the lowest cost to Warbricks and typically arrive within 5-7 days. States close to Montana will see sub 3 days typically. It is not unheard of for USPS packages to disappear for two weeks and not show tracking updates. We as a policy will not send out a replacement until we are 100% sure it is lost. In the past we have sent replacements and 99% of the time it causes duplicate deliveries and incurs triple shipping cost on the order.
Priority/Fedex is a premium service we offer at $16.95 and means that your sets will either ship USPS priority Mail or Fedex. (95% of ships that come in will ship Fedex as USPS priority on a large set is over $50. Typical 1:28 scale tanks and packages of that size will usually be sent USPS priority mail) You can request a specific service but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to ship it via that service as it is largely decided by cost.
Non-pre orders typically ship within 1-2 business days or less (usually same day/next morning)
Non continental USA state orders must pay extra shipping as every order must go air and we cannot subsidize these orders. Thanks for your understanding.
How We Package COBI Sets:
We place all sets inside a shipping box and insert packing material. We frequently recycle the OEM cartons that the products arrive in and we also use new shipping boxes after OEM cartons are exhausted. This allows us to keep our prices and shipping costs reasonable.
WE NEVER EVER PLACE A LABEL ON THE PRODUCT BOX LIKE AMAZON OR OTHER RETAILERS!!!!!!
We take great care in packaging our sets. We understand that the packaging is important and we do our best to deliver an undamaged product. Please remember that these sets have traveled all the way from Poland/China (CaDA). Therefore, we do not consider a crease in a box to be damaged if it happens in transit to you.
We do set aside creased boxes and sell them at a discount so all boxes sent to our customers are in perfect condition when they leave out shop. If they arrive damaged to you after we ship them we will asses the damage on a case by case basis. If you elected free shipping it is unlikely we will exchange.
If you are a collector and you are concerned about the quality of the packaging then we recommend you pay for expedited shipping or purchase sets from a brick and mortar store that avoids shipping damage. Expedited shipping helps us absorb some costs associated with exchanges (we will consider each order on a case by case basis).
In order to compete with COBI itself as well as Amazon, we have to be aggressive on prices and offer free shipping over $50. This means that there is practically no profit on orders. So, we cannot ship out replacements for creased boxes etc. These sets have been shipped a minimum of three times by the time they reach your door.
If you want your order to arrive in a box without markings then please note it in your order and select expedited shipping. This will not work on ships or large aircraft that are frequently shipped from COBI’s warehouse directly to you.
Requesting unmarked boxes/extra packaging etc is an added cost that impacts our ability to offer competitive prices and free shipping and this the extra costs will be carried by the customer. Therefore please select priority shipping option to offset costs.
COBI Pre-order Shipping:
When we learn that a new COBI block set is expected to arrive in the USA within approximately 30 days, we make the set available for pre-order. Pre-orders offer our customers the opportunity to save 5-10% off the cost of the set and they receive the set before regular customers.
It is important to understand the we do not control the arrival dates and changes and updates are frequently made by COBI and we adjust accordingly.
We do not split ship orders that include pre-orders unless they meet two criteria:
- Both split orders would otherwise qualify for free shipping over $50.
- Customer requests the split assuming the above criteria is met (due to the cost of shipping we wait until requested).
If you are concerned about a split ship situation, we recommend that you make two separate orders. Remember, pre-ordering saves you 5-10% so when you split ship it increases our cost substantially.
